Thermal fluid system simulation and pilot scale testing
Scaling up of a thermal fluid application can be risky and complex and requires not only sound engineering but also simulation and testing for verification and validation purposes. Developing a basic software simulation model from first principles can be verified and validated against pilot or scale model experimental tests. Validating the simulation model against a range of conditions increases the confidence in the model and the creates the ability to reduce the risk in designing and building full scale units.
