Ensuring a homogenous and distributed material profile to the downstream mineral processing equipment is imperative to achieve the highest possible beneficiation results on a continuous basis. The first step in our optimisation approach is to simulate the material flow characteristics using the existing chute configuration and conditions (Base Case). The Base Case is then verified and validated by comparing the simulation results with on site conditions. Concepts for optimisation are modelled and simulated to find the best possible improvement configuration that is transferred into actual chute modifications on site and real time improvement of operational results.
